Que Pasa Fest 2026 Celebrates its Quinceañera with Two Days of Music, Food, Culture and Family Fun
Metairie, LA – Cervantes Fundación Hispanoamericana de Arte (Cervantes Hispanic American Arts Foundation) proudly presents Que Pasa Fest 2026, celebrating its 15th Anniversary, “La Quinceañera,” on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Lafreniere Park in Metairie.
For fifteen years, Que Pasa Fest has united thousands of people from across the region to experience the rich traditions, vibrant cultures, and contagious spirit of Latin America. This milestone celebration promises to be the most exciting festival yet, featuring incredible live entertainment, authentic cuisine from throughout Latin America, colorful cultural performances, artisan vendors, children's activities, community outreach, and interactive experiences for all ages.
Whether you're dancing to live music, savoring your favorite Latin dishes, discovering unique handcrafted items, or creating memories with family and friends, Que Pasa Fest offers something for everyone.
Admission is just $5 for adults, and children under 12 are admitted free. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to relax and enjoy the performances. (Outside food and beverages are not permitted.)
A Star-Studded Entertainment Lineup
This year's entertainment will keep festivalgoers on their feet all weekend with performances by Grupo Recuerdos, Rumba Buena, Javier Olondo & AsheSon, Ballet Folklórico South Texas College, Damian Ch, La People, and others.
Closing out this unforgettable Quinceañera celebration, direct from Honduras, is the internationally acclaimed Las Chicas Rolands, bringing their electrifying performance and infectious energy to the Que Pasa Fest stage.
Kick Off the Celebration at Noche de Cultura
The festivities begin before the festival with the annual Que Pasa Fest Noche de Cultura Kickoff Celebration on Tuesday, October 6, at 7 p.m. at Rock 'n' Bowl in Mid-City, New Orleans.
Guests will enjoy an evening of live music featuring Daniel Enamorado & Friends and DJ Nayo, while celebrating two remarkable leaders whose contributions have strengthened the Hispanic community through music, culture, and service.
This year's honorees are:
- Lindsey Navarro, recipient of the Guillermo de Bango Excellence in the Arts Award
- Daniel Enamorado, recipient of the Oscar Marcia Music Award
These prestigious awards honor the enduring legacies of Dr. Guillermo de Bango, founder of the Cervantes Foundation and a lifelong advocate for Hispanic arts and culture in Louisiana, and Oscar Marcia, the legendary Honduran musician whose influence helped shape New Orleans' Latin music scene.
Admission to Noche de Cultura is $10 at the door.
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month
Que Pasa Fest is one of Louisiana's premier celebrations of National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15–October 15), honoring the history, achievements, and cultural contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans while bringing together people of every background through music, food, dance, art, and community.
