Meet Bella Cervantes, a remarkable 12-year-old entrepreneur whose spirit shines brightly through her jewelry company, Brave Bella Bead Co. Located across the Hammond, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans areas, Bella and her mother, Robin, create beautiful, high-quality bracelets for all occasions. But this venture is more than just a business; it’s a testament to resilience, creativity, and the power of giving back.

Bella’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer, at just two years old, she courageously underwent treatment that resulted in her losing her right eye. Defying the odds, she personalized her prosthetic eye with designs inspired by her passions, like soccer. Today, she stands as a symbol of hope, fully cancer-free and dedicated to using her platform to raise awareness for childhood cancer.

Bella’s mission sets Brave Bella Bead Co apart: “YOUR STYLE. YOUR IMPACT.” For every bracelet sold, they donate some proceeds to childhood cancer organizations, making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected. Through speaking engagements and bead-making events, Bella shares her story and fosters connections with her community. Her joy in meeting new people and helping others deeply fulfills her entrepreneurial journey.

Bella’s work has gained recognition, including winning the People’s Choice award at the Young Entrepreneurship Academy competition and receiving support from professional soccer players. With dreams of playing soccer at the collegiate level and expanding her business, Bella exemplifies determination and heart, serving as a source of motivation for all.

Through Brave Bella Bead Co, Bella inspires others to overcome challenges and pursue their dreams, proving that no obstacle is insurmountable. As Robin, her mother, proudly states, “Bella has taken the bad and turned it all around for good,” making her not only a young entrepreneur but also a beacon of inspiration for many.
