The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, better known as Jazz Fest, is one of Louisiana’s most iconic celebrations of culture, rhythm, and community. Held annually at the Fair Grounds Race Course (1751 Gentilly Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70119), the festival takes place over the last weekend of April and the first weekend of May. From the soulful sounds of jazz and gospel to the energy of blues, Cajun, and Zydeco, Jazz Fest brings together more than 12 stages of world-class performances—alongside the flavors, art, and traditions that define Louisiana and connect cultures from around the globe.
