On November 8, 2025, the University of Holy Cross will host the Business Summit 2025, an event that has become a beacon of inspiration and growth for Louisiana’s Latino community.
Last year, more than 130 entrepreneurs and business owners came together to share experiences, learn from experts, and—most importantly—connect with one another. The energy in every workshop and conversation reflected the power of a community working hand in hand to achieve its goals. This year, expectations are even higher.
Organized by El Centro, Inc., the Business Summit stands out as the only all-Spanish business conference in the region. It is designed to provide practical tools, updated knowledge, and a welcoming space where entrepreneurs can express themselves in their own language—without barriers.
The 2025 edition will feature two workshop tracks: one tailored for small businesses in their early stages and another for established companies seeking to scale and strengthen their operations. Sessions will cover a wide range of topics, from financial and legal strategies to leadership, human resources, and innovation.
But the Summit is much more than workshops. It is a place to build meaningful connections, where Latino entrepreneurs can meet allies, mentors, and potential collaborators. The welcome breakfast, networking lunch, and closing reception are all designed to nurture that sense of community and solidarity that defines this event.
Perhaps the most remarkable aspect: participation is free of charge and 100% in Spanish. This eliminates barriers for those who often struggle to find accessible, culturally relevant business training opportunities.
