NOMA Beyond Art: Events & Free Admission Wednesdays
VIVA NOLA invites our community to experience the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) in inspiring ways. More than a space for world-renowned art, NOMA is a place to connect—with creativity, with community, and with yourself.
Engage with Art: NOMA’s Unique Programs
The museum is hosting Musical Encounters, an evening series on select Wednesdays, where musicians share insights into their creative process, followed by a short, intimate performance inspired by a work of art on view. These special events bring the museum to life in unexpected and moving ways.

Thanks to The Helis Foundation’s Art for All initiative, Louisiana residents receive free admission every Wednesday. Simply check in at the admissions desk upon arrival to find out where each event or program is located.
We at VIVA NOLA encourage our readers to discover and connect with one of New Orleans’ most treasured institutions. Let NOMA be a part of your cultural journey. To see the latest list of Musical Encounter performances and more, visit noma.org.
