Nonstop Flights from New Orleans: Your Gateway to Global Adventures

Have you ever wanted to enjoy a meal at Emeril’s Table, shop at Fleurty Girl, or say a long goodbye to a loved one at the gate without actually buying a plane ticket? At Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY), you can do exactly that through the Indulge MSY Guest Pass Program.

Here is everything you need to know about how to sign up and what to expect.

How to Sign Up

The airport recently upgraded the program to make it faster and more accessible. There are now two ways to register:

In-Person: If you make a last-minute decision to visit, you can use the self-service kiosks located on Level 1 (Baggage Claim) between Doors 2 and 3.

Online: Visit the official MSY Guest Pass page to fill out an application. You can apply up to seven days in advance.

Requirements for Entry

To receive your digital pass, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Valid ID: You must provide a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or a valid passport.
  • Security Screening: All guest pass holders must pass through the standard TSA security checkpoint. You will be subject to the same prohibited items rules as ticketed passengers (so leave the liquids over 3.4oz at home!).
  • Minors: Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an approved adult guest pass holder at all times.

Program Hours and Limits

  • Availability: The program is available 7 days a week.
  • Timeframes: You can enter the post-security area during the day, but all guest pass holders must exit the sterile area by 8:00 PM.
  • Capacity: There is a daily quota for guest passes. If you cannot select a specific date on the website, it likely means the limit for that day has already been reached.

Why Visit?

Once you are past security, the “Indulge MSY” pass gives you access to over 40 local and national dining and shopping options. It’s a great way for aviation enthusiasts to watch planes or for locals to experience the award-winning architecture and “Soul of NOLA” atmosphere that the new terminal offers.

Pro Tip: Remember that the pass is only valid for the date issued and is non-transferable. For more details or to start your application, head over to flymsy.com.
