Yesenia Guadalupe Mendoza, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in Kenner, is a singer who found her passion for music fueled by the likes of Ciara and Ashanti during the early 2000s. Growing up surrounded by all genres of music, she discovered solace in songs and karaoke, using music to express her emotions and fill her time constructively.

Since a young age, Yesenia’s love for singing has remained unwavering. Memorable experiences, like auditioning for American Idol at 17, shaped Yesenia’s musical journey.

Despite her nerves, the experience sparked a desire to continue pursuing her love for singing. Music has always been a constant, from performing for stuffed animals in her youth to dreaming of singing Adele’s emotional ballads, performing at local talent shows, and singing the National Anthem.

Despite the demands of being a spouse and a mother of two, Yesenia always carves out time to sing, making space for her passion. Whether belting out tunes for her family or recording in her home office, music remains integral to her life. Looking ahead, she dreams of captivating audiences at local restaurants on weekends, offering a glimpse of her talent and love for singing.

With a supportive family background intertwined with music, Yesenia’s journey as a singer continues to evolve, adding rhythm and melody to her vibrant life. She is also a henna tattoo artist, so book her for your next henna tattoo or eyebrow appointment through her Instagram,    @hennabyyeseniaandmore.
