New Orleans Premier Multicultural Magazine
As live music is back and the fall schedule seems promising for Louisiana festivals coming back, we are happy to bring two main stories about music. Our cover article is about a fusion between Zydeco and Caribbean rhythms in a collaboration between the iconic Rockin’ Dopsie Jr. and the multi-talented Dominican artist Fermin Ceballos. We also have an interview with Jason Marsalis, who shared memories about his father, the great pianist Ellis Marsalis.
In this issue, we also highlight a lady admired by Latino community members, Norma Castillo. Her entrepreneurial journey reminds us of all the hard-working mothers, so we want to take the opportunity to wish her and all mothers a Happy Mother’s Day this May 9th!
