Happy 2023!

It’s hard to believe this issue wraps the year 2022 and opens up a very promising 2023, despite all the talks about inflation and the inevitable recession. We shall see, but for now, New Orleans is gearing up for a busy year full of sporting and cultural events and the eyes of the world tuning in to the city of Jazz for the Miss Universe pageant taking place January 14th.

We talk about Miss Universe with Miss Louisiana RIM 2018, who stood in front of the first LEED-certified convention center in the world. Congratulations to the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center on its outstanding efforts to become sustainable and attract environmentally conscious travelers. Walt Leger, the incoming president of New Orleans & Company, talks about the NOENMCC milestones and their partnership to keep New Orleans a top destination for national and international visitors.
